Description
F: X Pro Reverse GND8 Rectangular Filter
The Rollei F: x per reverse GND 8 (3 stops/0.9) Is our reverse Gray gradient filter. Gnd stands for Graduated neutral density, which means a filter with a transition from tint to transparency. These filters are partially coated neutral gray, which means that the brightness differences in the picture can be compensated for. Usually the coating would expire to one side for GND filters. However, reverse stands for the fact that the course of the tint (coating) is the other way round. This means that the coating in the middle of the filter is particularly strong and soft to one side of the filter, but it runs very hard to the other.
For these motifs you can use the F: X Pro Reverse GND8:
- Sunrise and sunset
- Beach motif
- Motifs with a horizon where there is a lot of brightness in the middle
GNDS are used (unlike normal ND filters) for motifs in which the brightness conditions have a certain course and therefore need different exposure for an evenly exposed image. The ideal place of use of a reverse GND would be, for example, a picture in which the sun can be seen and where clear lines dominate the image.
We offer our reverse GND 8 in the Size 100 x 150 millimeters (100 mm rectangular filter system) to. He has a density of 0.9 and 3 stops in the middle, darkened area. A stop means that the amount of light that is incurred on the sensor decreases by one aperture level.
